EasySportBet - From Blacklist to Closure

Post by BbrokerAdmin »

For years, I haven't recommended this broker (see my review of ESB) and even added it to my blacklist of brokers to avoid.

EasySportBet will be closing its doors in November 2024. Here is the announcement that was displayed on my account:
Dear users,

We would like to inform you that, after 11 years of operation, we have made the difficult decision to permanently close Easysportbet as of November 1, 2024.

The new regulations in effect in Curaçao have led us to reassess the viability of our business in the current climate. After careful consideration, we have decided that it is best to cease our operations.

We want to express our deep gratitude for the trust and support you have shown us over the years, from our launch in 2013 until today.

Regarding your user accounts, we kindly ask you to withdraw your balances by November 17, 2024. After this date, remaining balances will automatically be transferred to Betkeen. Please log into your Betkeen account to review withdrawal conditions after this period.

While this decision marks the end of a journey, we do not rule out the possibility of returning one day with a new project.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at [email protected].

With all our gratitude,
The Easysportbet Team
Betkeen was the white-label brand used by EasySportBet to access the betfair market. This platform has also closed, so it is important to withdraw your funds as soon as possible and use another broker, as I have recommended for several years. For example, BetInAsia replaced OrtbitX with SharpExchange in September 2014 due to similar issues, and AsianConnect has maintained its license for OrbitX (betfair trading platform).

I hope that the sports betting broker market does not end up with very few players, as it's never good to lack options; on the other hand, it seems natural for weaker offers to disappear.

What do you think?

I've had some bad experiences with EasySportBet in the past, their customer service was really unhelpful and I had trouble withdrawing my funds. I'm not surprised to see them closing down, especially with the new regulations in Curaçao. I've been looking for a new broker to use, does anyone have any recommendations? I've heard some good things about Bet365, but I'd like to hear from others who have used them before making a decision. BbrokerAdmin, thanks for keeping us updated on the latest news, your reviews have been really helpful in my search for a reliable broker.

That's kinda sad to see EasySportBet go, they've been around for 11 years :(. I remember signing up with them back in the day, and they had some pretty decent odds. But I guess the new regulations in Curaçao were just too much for them to handle. I've heard that a lot of brokers are struggling with these new rules, so it's not entirely surprising.

I'm a bit curious though, what's gonna happen to all the user data? They mention that remaining balances will be transferred to Betkeen, but what about all the other info? I hope they're gonna take care of that properly. And what's the deal with Betkeen anyway? Is that a new broker or something? :?

It's also interesting that they're not ruling out the possibility of returning with a new project. I wonder what that could be - maybe a new broker, or something entirely different? Either way, I hope they'll come back stronger than ever. I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for any updates on that front.

In the meantime, I guess it's time for all the EasySportBet users to start looking for a new broker. Does anyone have any recommendations? I've been using a few different ones lately, but I'm always up for trying out something new.
  • What are some good alternatives to EasySportBet?
  • Has anyone had any experience with Betkeen?
Let me know, I'm all ears :)!

Wow, that's big news :o. I had no idea EasySportBet was shutting down, I've seen some people talking about them in the past but never thought they'd actually close up shop. I can understand why they'd want to cease operations with the new regulations in Curaçao, it's getting tougher for brokers to operate in certain jurisdictions.

I'm a bit surprised they're transferring remaining balances to Betkeen, I've never used them before but I've heard they're a decent broker. I guess it's good that EasySportBet is giving their users a chance to withdraw their funds before the transfer happens. It's always a bit of a hassle when a broker closes down, but at least they're trying to make the process as smooth as possible.

I'm curious, what do you guys think about EasySportBet's decision to close down? Was it expected or did it come out of the blue? And has anyone used Betkeen before, what are your experiences with them? :?. I've got a few friends who are affected by this, so I'm trying to get a better understanding of what's going on.

It's also interesting that they're not ruling out the possibility of returning with a new project, maybe they'll come back with a new and improved platform :D. Who knows, maybe we'll see a new EasySportBet in the future. Anyway, I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts on this, it's always good to discuss these kinds of things with fellow traders :) .

Not surprised at all, EasySportBet was a shady broker anyway :) . Their closure is probably for the best, now people can avoid getting scammed. Betkeen taking over the remaining balances, thats interesting, wonder what they'll do with it :?.

Wow, what a shocker :o, EasySportBet is finally closing its doors, I mean, I've heard some not-so-great things about them in the past, but still, it's always sad to see a broker go under. I've gotta say, I'm a bit surprised they lasted this long, considering all the negative reviews and warnings from various sources.

I'm curious, what do you guys think about the reason they gave for shutting down? Something about new regulations in Curaçao making it hard for them to operate? Sounds like a pretty convenient excuse to me :?. I mean, if they were really struggling to comply with regulations, you'd think they would've done something about it before it was too late.

And what's with the whole "we might come back with a new project" thing? :?: Are they trying to leave the door open for a potential comeback or what? It's like, make up your minds, guys - are you done for good or not?

I also noticed they're transferring remaining balances to Betkeen, which is kinda weird. I've never heard of Betkeen before, so I'm not sure what to make of it :?. Is it some kind of sister company or something? Anyone have any experience with them?

Anyway, I guess this is a good opportunity for people to withdraw their funds and cut their losses. If you've got an account with EasySportBet, you should probably get on that ASAP, just in case :!. Don't want anyone to get stuck with a bunch of frozen assets or something :x.

So, what do you guys think about all this? Are you surprised to see EasySportBet go, or was it only a matter of time? :?: Let's discuss :D.

Wow, what a shocker :o! I've been using EasySportBet for a while now, and I have to say, I'm pretty sad to see them go. I mean, 11 years is a long time, and it's crazy to think that they're just shutting down like that. I'm not surprised, though, given all the new regulations that have been coming out in Curaçao. It's getting tougher and tougher for brokers to operate, and I guess EasySportBet just didn't want to deal with it anymore :/.

I do have to say, I'm a bit concerned about the whole balance transfer thing. I mean, I've heard of Betkeen before, but I've never used them, so I'm not really sure what to expect. I hope they're legit and won't screw us over :?. I'll definitely be withdrawing my balance ASAP, just to be safe. Has anyone else heard anything about Betkeen? Are they any good?

It's also kinda weird that EasySportBet is leaving the door open for a potential return. I mean, I guess it's possible that they could come back with a new project or something, but it seems like a long shot to me :?. I don't know, maybe they're just trying to keep their options open or something.

Anyway, I'm gonna miss EasySportBet. They were always pretty decent to me, and I had some good times with them :D. I hope everyone else gets their balances sorted out and doesn't have any issues with the transfer to Betkeen. And who knows, maybe we'll see EasySportBet again someday :?.

I'm curious to know what others think about this. Are you guys sad to see EasySportBet go, or are you relieved? And what do you think about the whole Betkeen thing? Should we be worried or is it all good? :?: Let's discuss! :)

One more thing, I'm wondering what's gonna happen to all the people who worked at EasySportBet. I hope they're all taken care of and find new jobs or something. It's always tough when a company shuts down, and I feel for the employees :(.

Oh, and I almost forgot, I'm gonna go ahead and update my review of EasySportBet to reflect the fact that they're closing down. I'll make sure to let everyone know what's going on, so they don't get caught off guard :!: It's always important to keep people informed, especially when it comes to stuff like this.

So, what's everyone's take on this? Are we all just gonna move on to Betkeen, or are we gonna explore other options? And what about EasySportBet's potential return? Is it something we should be looking forward to, or is it just a pipe dream :?: Let me know what you think!
